I’m sure I’m not the only one who sometimes wakes up in a weird mood for no reason. Right? Maybe, it’s because of a bad dream, some unresolved issue or the weather, but whatever it is, most times there seem to never be an explanation.
A few months ago I made the decision to not let my circumstances give me directions, but my thoughts. I decided to always start my day right no matter how I’m feeling that morning. Before I open my eyes I say a little prayer and I tell myself that whatever happens during the day I’ll choose to be positive and grateful. Although it doesn’t always work out the way I want to. I’ve come to realize that positive thoughts at the dusk of dawn are the way to a happier life. And a happier life begins with not letting my feelings or thoughts get the better of me.
One of the things I struggle with is decision making. Whenever I make major decisions I get in a battle with myself and weigh out options of what happens if I do this or that? I use a ton of energy for decision making and it almost always leaves me anxious.
